FT reported on the beginning of a new phase of the global energy crisis in the run-up to summer

On the eve of the summer season, the global energy crisis is entering a new phase amid increasing demand for tourist trips and increased fuel consumption for this reason. This was reported on May 17 by the Financial Times (FT) newspaper.

"Demand for air conditioners and tourist trips in the early summer in the northern hemisphere will put additional strain on the supply of crude oil, gasoline, diesel fuel and jet fuel, while global stocks are already declining at the fastest pace in history," the publication says.
