France has announced a possible request for an arrest warrant for Musk.

A French court may request an arrest warrant for American billionaire Elon Musk in connection with an investigation into the social network X. This was announced on May 17 by the prosecutor of Paris, Laure Beco, on RTL radio.

"If eventually, at the conclusion of the investigation, the investigating judges are convinced that the elements of suspicion are turning into sufficiently consistent charges that Elon Musk can be summoned to criminal court, and if he does not respond to subpoenas, the only way to ensure his appearance in court is an arrest warrant in accordance with the law."" TASS quoted Beko as saying.

It is noted that at the moment no warrant is required, and the investigation into the social network is ongoing.
