As a result of attempted strikes by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Moscow, 12 people were injured. This was announced on May 17 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in the Maks messenger.
"According to preliminary data, 12 people were injured as a result of the drone strikes," he said.
It is noted that most of the victims were injured near the entrance of the Moscow Oil Refinery (MNPZ). The plant's technology was not disrupted.
Three houses were also damaged. The air defense forces continue to repel the attack.
"The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense continue to repel a massive attack. Over the past day, more than 120 UAVs have been shot down," Sobyanin said.
