Venezuela has deported Colombian citizen Alex Naim Saab Moran, who also held Venezuelan citizenship and served as the country's minister of Industry and National Production until January 2026. This is stated in a government statement released by Venezuelan Minister of Information and Communications Miguel Perez.

"The government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela announces the deportation of Colombian citizen Alex Naim Saab Moran on May 16, 2026, in accordance with the regulatory provisions of the Venezuelan migration legislation," the Telegram channel said.
