An earthquake of magnitude 6.0 occurred off the coast of Antigua and Barbuda

An earthquake of magnitude 6.0 was recorded off the coast of Antigua and Barbuda in the eastern Caribbean Sea. This was announced on May 16 by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).

It is specified that the seismic event occurred at a distance of 57 km from the coast of the country. The earthquake was located at a depth of 59 km.

There is no information about the victims and there is no threat of a tsunami.
