At the moment, 31 people have been arrested during the entire operation. <...> Although this may seem overstated, at the moment both protests have been held mostly without serious incidents," the London police said in a statement on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Izvestia's footage from the site of the protests shows that all that keeps the groups from rioting is a small security corridor created by the police.

As journalist Anna Zhikhareva emphasized, the participants of the "Unite the Kingdom" campaign, organized by far—right activist Tommy Robinson, oppose the Kingdom's migration policy - they marched to the center of the capital under the slogans "Save Britain" and "Stop illegal migration." They are opposed by pro-Palestinian and anti-fascist groups with posters "Freedom for Palestine" and "Stop the far-right," Zhikhareva noted.

"A so-called sterile zone was created between the march of the United Kingdom movement and the pro-Palestinian demonstration to prevent clashes. The metropolitan police has already stated that this is one of the largest operations to ensure order in recent years," the journalist emphasized.

One of the protesters shared that she opposes the ideology of the left and their "vook" agenda (a political term that means propaganda of social, racial and sexual justice).

"I am here to express my position and support my fellow citizens. We want change in the UK. There is a problem of illegal migration, and there are a lot of problems," she said.

Another activist noted that migrants in the UK do not respect the rules of the state they came to, but they come and receive housing and benefits.

"My brother and my cousins don't receive any benefits — they have to work hard to live in those countries, they have to comply with local regulations. Why can't you do the same here?" the protester added.
