As a result of an explosion at a gas station in Pyatigorsk, windows in 17 apartments were blown out in a nearby apartment building. This was announced on May 16 by the mayor Dmitry Voroshilov.
"Windows in 17 apartments in the apartment building on Ermolova Street were blown out; the apartments themselves, residents and property were not damaged," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

Voroshilov stressed that the firefighters who arrived at the scene acted professionally and smoothly.
