A man died as a result of an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on a car in the Belgorod region.

As a result of a targeted strike by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) A man was killed by a car in the village of Krasnaya Yaruga in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on May 16 in the press service of the operational headquarters for the Belgorod region.

"In the village of Krasnaya Yaruga, a drone attacked a passenger car. The man died on the spot from his injuries before the ambulance crew arrived," the operstab said in a Telegram channel message.

The operstab staff expressed their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. They clarified that the car he was driving was also damaged.

Two days earlier, the Belgorod operational headquarters also reported one death when a Ukrainian FPV drone struck a private house in the village of Golovchino, Grayvoronsky district. On that day, three men were also injured in the region — one in the Grayvoronsky district, and the other two in the Shebekinsky municipal district. All the wounded were hospitalized.
