Kartheiser announced increased EU pressure on Ukraine's anti-corruption authorities

Against the background of corruption scandals, the European Union (EU) intends to increase pressure on Ukraine's anti-corruption authorities. This statement was made on May 16 by Fernand Kartheiser, a member of the European Parliament from Luxembourg.

"It is unlikely that the EU will publicly change its policy in the near future, but it will increase pressure on Ukraine's anti—corruption authorities and direct their actions in accordance with its political interests," he told RIA Novosti.
