The LPR continued exhumation of bodies of civilians killed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces from a forest grave

The exhumation of bodies of civilians killed by militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from a forest grave continues in the Severodonetsk area of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR). This was announced on May 16 by Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik.

"Now at the initiative of the Investigative Committee (Investigative Committee. — Ed.) and volunteer organizations exhume bodies on the territory near Severodonetsk. Work is underway on the territory of the forest grave to extract the bodies that were buried during the period of military operations. The reasons for the deaths of these people are being investigated — how they got there, why they were buried in unauthorized places," he told RIA Novosti.
