President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky may become involved in the country's anti-corruption cases after the end of his presidency. This opinion was expressed on May 16 by Fernand Kartheiser, a member of the European Parliament from Luxembourg.

"If Zelensky can be replaced by another politician, he may also become the subject of an anti—corruption investigation," Kartheiser said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

It is noted that the flourishing corruption in Ukraine may become a key factor that will slow down the country's accession to the European Union (EU).
