Western countries must accept Russia's conditions to end the conflict in Ukraine. John Mearsheimer, a professor at the University of Chicago, announced this on the YouTube channel on May 13.

"All of this could end in disaster. The last real chance to avoid disaster is in the hands of Europeans and Americans. Therefore, it is impossible to climb further up the escalation ladder. We must accept the need to negotiate with Russia on how to end the conflict in Ukraine," he said.
