The number of victims in the attack on an apartment building in Belgorod has increased to nine people. This was announced on May 15 at the Operational Headquarters of the Belgorod region.

"According to updated information, the number of victims as a result of the attack of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) The number of Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in an apartment building in Belgorod has increased to nine people," the Telegram channel said.

The publication notes that a 19-year-old young man was admitted to the regional clinical hospital with a diagnosis of acubarotrauma and multiple blind shrapnel wounds to his face and legs. Three more victims were hospitalized in Belgorod City Hospital No. 2, where they were also found to have acubarotrauma and shrapnel wounds to various parts of their bodies. Another man was treated on the spot, but he refused to be hospitalized.

Operational services and the situation center continue to work at the scene of the emergency, the Operations Staff said.

Earlier that day, it was reported that four people were injured in an attack by an APU drone on an apartment building in Belgorod.

On the same day, seven people were injured as a result of an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the house of culture in Shakhtersk in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The head of the city, Alexander Shatov, added that there were no fatalities. He stressed that one of the wounded is in serious condition.
