Footage has emerged of shooting at Ukrainian police officers while checking documents

On May 15, the National Police of Ukraine released footage of shooting at police officers during a document check in the Khmelnytskyi region.

The Ukrainian police officers were going to check the documents, but the citizen opened fire on them. As a result of the shootout, one of the policemen died and the other was injured.

Presumably, the conflict arose against the background of mobilization. Later, during an inspection of the scene, the police found and seized an empty magazine for automatic weapons and a cartridge case in the courtyard of the house.

The day before, in the Khmelnitsky region of Ukraine, an unknown assailant attacked police officers who stopped him to check his documents. After the attack, the attacker fled the scene. A special search and operational operation has been announced in the region to identify him. It is specified that the criminal was deprived of his driver's license by a court decision.
