"Night at the Museum" will be held in Moscow: the action will take place for the 20th time

The annual action of the Department of Culture "Night at the Museum", dedicated to the International Museum Day, will be held in the capital from May 16 to 17. More than 600 events will take place at 170 venues — museums, exhibition halls, libraries and parks. Guests will be able to attend guided tours, lectures, concerts, performances, exhibitions and workshops, as well as view the expositions for free.

The campaign will be launched on May 16 at the Vasily Nesterenko Moscow State Art Gallery. The program includes author's excursions with People's Artist of the Russian Federation Vasily Nesterenko, a musical journey through vocal works, as well as a poetic composition with poems about the love of poets of the 20th century from the Recursion Theater studio.

The Museum of Moscow will host a master class in Russian folk dancing led by Nadezhda Grigorieva, a lecture "From crinoline to overalls: How Progress is changing fashion" from Gorky Film Studio (on the eve of the release of the movie "Cash Register of Brides") and a concert by The Settlers and singer Tosya Chaikina in the courtyard of Food Warehouses.

The biocluster at VDNH will hold a master class "Forensic Expert's Office" and a guided tour of the Golden Beetle with a night walk around VDNH. The State Darwin Museum will present the collection "The most dinosaurs" — rare specimens from the collection of collector Alexei Korol.

The Museum of Cosmonautics will open the exhibition "Fantastic Costume" based on the work of Kir Bulychev: Three temporary stations will combine costumes from the film "Guest from the Future", props from Gorky's Film Studio and space artifacts. A comic strip "The Incredible Adventures of Alice Selezneva at the Museum of Cosmonautics" was created for the exhibition. A concert by the Viktor Popov Large Children's Choir and meetings with Alice Lutomskaya (daughter of Kir Bulychev) and Evgeny Gerasimov (performer of the role of robot Werther from the movie "Guest from the Future") are also planned.

At the S. A. Yesenin Museum, the actors of the Mark Zakharov Lenkom Theater will present an immersive quest performance with a "traveler's passport": the audience will walk through Yesenin's Moscow, completing tasks. The Tsaritsyno Museum‑Reserve will host the program "On all Four Sides!", which will present the creativity of the North, South, West and East of Russia.

In the Pushkin State Museum, guests will enjoy an excursion "Exposition on Prechistenka. History, secrets, discoveries" with Julia Rutberg, the opening of summer playgrounds (17th century White Stone Chambers and a Garden Pavilion) and two exhibitions — "The Game of Bygone Days. Russian wooden toy" and "The Peoples of Russia".

In addition, an unusual program will be available as part of the "Night at the Museum" campaign — guided tours will take place with the participation of famous actors. Theater and film actress Yulia Snigir will conduct an excursion to the Mikhail Bulgakov Museum, theater and film actress Daria Moroz will conduct an excursion to the Tsaritsyno Museum, Russian theater and film actress, producer Victoria Isakova will conduct an excursion to the Marina Tsvetaeva House Museum, theater and film actor Dmitry Chebotarev will conduct an excursion to the Pushkin State Museum, Sergei Goroshko, a theater and film actor, is at the A.N. Scriabin Memorial Museum. For lovers of street walks, there will be more than 20 street tours from the capital's museums.
