The construction of the right tunnel between the stations of the Troitskaya metro line has begun

The construction of the right tunnel between the stations "Kedrovaya" and "Vatutinki" of the Troitskaya metro line has begun. This was announced in the Maks messenger by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

The head of the capital noted that three billboards are operating simultaneously on the southern section of the branch. "There is still a lot of work ahead, but there is no doubt that this one of the most important metro construction projects will be implemented on schedule — in 2029," Sobyanin stressed.

The right tunnel from Vatutinok to Kedrovaya will be built by the Natalie shield, which will run near a major highway — the Kaluga Highway. The maximum depth of work is 32 m, said the mayor of Moscow. The sinking is expected to be completed in 2027.

It is expected that over 300,000 residents and employees of the TiNAO will receive the metro within walking distance, Moscow 24 notes. The travel time to the center will be reduced by 1.5 times, according to the NTV website, and the road to the BKL will be reduced from more than an hour to 40 minutes.

In early April, it was reported that the second tunnel was being drilled on the southern section of the Troitskaya metro line, from Novomoskovskaya station to Sosenok. In October, the second stage of construction of the Troitskaya metro line began. After completion, the line will stretch from ZIL station to Troitsk, combining 17 stations and more than 43 km of tracks.
