Hongqi revealed the characteristics of the Guoya sedan for Russia
The new Hongqi Guoya executive sedan, which will go on sale in Russia by the middle of this year, will be offered with two powerful engines to choose from. This is stated in the message of the brand's press service, which was received by Izvestia on May 15. It follows that the model, also known as the L1, will enter the market under the name Hongqi Golden Sunflower Guoya.
The 3.0-liter V6 Biturbo engine (380 hp, 570 Nm) accelerates the sedan to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, with a fuel consumption of 8.5 liters per 100 km. A more expensive modification with a 4.0 V8 Biturbo engine (476 hp; 680 Nm) will allow you to accelerate from a standstill to a hundred in 4.5 seconds, with this version rated at 9 liters/100 km.
The company said that the Guoya engines have a HOT-V architecture with two turbines in the collapse of the cylinders, which is used for the first time in the history of the Chinese automotive industry. This solution reduces the length of the intake and exhaust paths, providing a quick response to the accelerator pedal and the absence of a turbo wall.
As previously noted in Hongqi, the new sedan is aimed at large business owners and top executives. Its length is 5,353 mm, and its wheelbase is 3,260 mm. The interior uses rare varieties of natural wood and fine nappa leather. The rear row of seats offers multi-point massage, ventilation and individual backrest tilt settings. An intelligent active noise reduction system is provided in combination with multi-layer glazing.
Evolute, a company that manufactures electric cars and hybrids in the Lipetsk Region, unveiled a new C-segment electric crossover, the i-Sky, in Russia on May 14. It is equipped with a 218 hp (310 Nm) engine that accelerates the crossover from 0 to 100 km/h in 8 seconds. A traction battery with a capacity of 62 kWh allows you to travel up to 424 km without recharging.
