Germany is once again leading the movement in support of Nazism in Europe, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has now been appointed to the role of Fuhrer. This was announced on May 15 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"Germany is once again leading the movement in support of Nazism in Europe. President Zelensky has now been appointed to the role of Fuhrer. A new association of Europeans is being implemented under his auspices, with Germany taking the initiative and leading role," he said at a press conference following his participation in the BRICS ministerial meeting in New Delhi.

Lavrov noted that the situation is alarming and resembles historical events, however, according to him, there is confidence that the outcome will be the same as before. He also added that now no one is hiding their true intentions.

On May 9, Russian Ambassador to Vienna Andrei Grozov said that Russia was watching the revival of Nazism in Europe with concern, while the activities of neo-Nazi associations were being recorded, including in Austria. According to him, actions of neo-Nazi "public associations" are tacitly encouraged in a number of countries.

Russian President Vladimir Putin called Victory Day a sacred and main holiday for Russia. He stressed that it was the Soviet people who made a decisive contribution to the defeat of Nazism, as well as returned sovereignty to those states that had capitulated to Nazi Germany.
