LinkedIn social network has registered a trademark in Russia

On May 14, the American company LinkedIn Corporation registered a trademark in Rospatent — one of its logos, follows from the data of the Rusprofile counterparty verification service, which was reviewed by Izvestia.

The rights to the brand will be valid until June 2035. The trademark applies to the provision of software, the provision of information about employment and current business events, the coordination and establishment of business contacts, the organization of business and training events, trainings and workshops, and other services.

LinkedIn is an American social network blocked in Russia.A network for finding and establishing business contacts, founded by Reed Hoffman in December 2002. As of November 2023, LinkedIn has 1 billion registered users representing 150 business sectors from 200 countries.

Social.The network provides an opportunity for registered users to create and maintain a list of business contacts, publish resumes and vacancies, and create interest groups. In June 2016, the site was acquired by Microsoft for $26.2 billion.

Earlier, on May 8, it was reported that Google had registered a brand in Russia for negotiations and training called Google Developer Groups. So, according to them, the American corporation secured the rights to the brand until February 2035.
