The Ministry of Health noted an increase in the number of foreigners being treated in Russia

The number of foreigners coming to Russia for medical care has increased by 20% over the past three years. This was announced on May 15 by Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Evgenia Kotova.

"Over the past three years, the number of patients who choose Russia as their place of treatment has been growing by 20%. And we believe that this is not accidental, because today the advantages of Russian medicine are obvious," she said in an interview with TASS, adding that 70% of them are citizens of the CIS countries.

Kotova noted the high quality of Russian medical education, as well as the capabilities of leading federal clinics and large regional medical centers that provide advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies.
