Chinese President Xi Jinping has no intention of sending military aid to Iran. This was announced on May 14 by US President Donald Trump.

"He stated that he was not going to supply military equipment [to Iran]. This is an important statement," the head of the White House said in an interview with Fox News.

On the same day, the American leader announced that Xi Jinping had offered assistance on the Iranian issue.

Earlier in the day, the White House press service reported that Xi Jinping and Trump had agreed that Iran should not have nuclear weapons in its arsenal. In addition, the leaders of the countries also agree that the Strait of Hormuz should remain open to "support the free flow of energy."

Trump said on May 12 that he wanted to make a good deal with Iran and was waiting for the situation to develop further. The American leader also expressed that the upcoming deal would be "very good" for both the American and the Iranian people.
