On May 14, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that he was not afraid of the Russian law on the right to use Armed forces to protect Russians arrested abroad in the context of the presence of the 102nd Russian military base in Armenia.

Responding to a question about concerns regarding the presence of the 102nd base in Gyumri, Pashinyan noted that he has no concerns, since this base, regardless of the laws of the Russian Federation, must operate within the framework of the legislation and powers of Armenia.
