A plenary session was held at VDNH as part of the exhibition "Sport.Sport.Sports."

On May 14, a plenary session "The Role and potential of the Sports Industry in the modern Economy" was held in the atrium of Pavilion 57 of VDNH, which opened the four-day All-Russian Forum-exhibition "Sport, Sport, Sport". The event was not just a business meeting, but was important for the development of the country's sports culture, allowing for a constructive dialogue between government officials, the business community, sports federations and representatives of the media industry.

The session was moderated by Ksenia Shoigu, Head of the working group on the development of mass sports of the State Council of the Russian Federation Commission on Physical Culture and Sport, President of the Russian Triathlon Federation and head of the League of Heroes. The discussion was also attended by Artem Artemyev, Head of the working group on the development of the sports industry and entrepreneurship of the State Council of the Russian Federation in the field of Physical Culture and sports, Vice President of Opora Russia, President of the Russian Drone Racing Federation, Member of the Presidential Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports, President of the VFSO Labor Reserves Ilya Galaev, First Vice-President of the Russian Hockey Federation, founder of the Krasnaya Mashina Junior hockey school Roman Rotenberg, Executive Director of the All-Russian Athletics Federation Boris Yaryshevsky, President of the Russian Weightlifting Federation Alexander Vinokurov, Director of the Department of Development and Interaction with Sports Organizations of Match TV channel Elena Rudakova and football player, bronze medalist of the championship European Football Coach Dmitry Sychev.

The meeting participants noted the growing popularity of both traditional and modern sports disciplines among the Russian population, which poses new ambitious challenges for all players in the sports market. The speakers stated that the modern Russian sports industry has finally transformed from a set of disparate areas and activities into a full-fledged diversified economic cluster combining the production of equipment and equipment, IT solutions and financial services, media support, rehabilitation technologies and a personnel training system.

"Today, the Russian sports industry is one of those areas that has successfully embarked on import substitution. We are glad that within the framework of the forum "Sport Sport Sport" we were able to bring together representatives of the government, the business community, sports federations and the media industry to discuss concrete steps for further development of the industry, as well as popularization of mass sports among more citizens of our country. I thank the Ministry of Sports for supporting our event and every exhibitor of the forum-exhibition for being with us," said Ksenia Shoigu.

A separate focus of the discussion was on the organization and holding of mass sports events, which should now become a driver of development for domestic equipment manufacturers and service providers. The organizers of mass sports starts and the heads of federations have made a number of proposals for further integration of domestic manufacturers into their organization.

The All-Russian exhibition "Sport, Sport, Sport" is taking place from May 14 to 17 at VDNH (Pavilion No. 57). It is the country's leading industry platform that unites manufacturers of sports equipment and equipment, IT developers and organizers of mass events, as well as government agencies, sports federations and educational organizations. The purpose of the event is to form a systematic approach to the development of the sports industry, increase the technological independence of the industry and create an accessible physical culture and sports environment for all categories of the population.
