The documentary was directed by Artyom Mikhalkov, who has already won the recognition of the audience with the sports drama "Mr. Knockout" and the biopic "The First on Olympus". His new project is dedicated to the 135th anniversary of Mikhail Bulgakov's birth. The painting was created in a chamber format: It combines animated sketches, unique archival footage and kaleidoscopic inserts that create an almost hypnotic atmosphere on the big screen.
