The Russian Foreign Ministry accused Kiev of facilitating terrorism in Africa
Kiev is working closely with international terrorist groups and transnational criminal networks to fight against legitimate governments in Africa. This was announced on May 14 by Deputy Foreign Minister Dmitry Lyubinsky.
"The Kiev regime is working closely with international terrorist groups and transnational criminal networks, including in training fighters to fight against legitimate governments, especially in Africa," he said at a round table discussion on the threat of the spread of crime and drugs from Ukraine.
According to Lubinsky, Kiev supplies terrorists with weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as trains them in the use of technology and coordinates the actions of the militants. He also noted that Western weapons, which are being resold by the Ukrainian side, have already been seen in the possession of terrorists in a number of states. In particular, we are talking about Syria, Somalia, Sudan, Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso.
On March 25, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova pointed to Kiev's cooperation with terrorist groups. According to her, the Kiev regime is also training militants to fight legitimate governments. In addition, Zakharova believes that the West is using terrorists and extremists in Ukraine to solve its geopolitical problems.
