The nutritionist called the danger of eating strawberries

Nutritionist Natalia Pavlyuk warned on May 14 about the consequences of excessive consumption of strawberries.

In an interview with Radio 1, she stated that strawberries go well with dairy products and yoghurts and can be part of a healthy diet in the absence of excess sugar.

At the same time, the expert warned that people with allergies, individual intolerance or cross-allergic reactions should be more careful with the berry.

According to the expert, strawberries can cause redness of the skin, rash and other unpleasant symptoms.

The day before, the head of the Association of Omnichannel Retail Companies (ACORT) Stanislav Bogdanov said that strawberries in mid-May are sold in Russian retail chains at a price of about 800 rubles per 1 kg. This is 28% cheaper than in April, when 1 kg cost from 1,120 rubles.

At the same time, expert Irina Koziy told NSN that the share of domestic strawberries on Russian shelves reaches 30%. Most strawberries are grown in the Krasnodar Territory and in the Moscow region. Nutritionist Irina Pisareva said on May 2 that the uniform dark red color and strong sweet smell indicate fresh strawberries.
