Colombian striker of St. Petersburg football club Zenit John Duran has temporarily left the team. This was announced by the club's press service on May 14.

"The club's management and the Colombian striker have agreed on the player's absence due to personal circumstances," Zenit's Telegram channel says.

It is noted that the timing of the athlete's return will be announced additionally, clarifies "Газета.Ru ".

Duran played nine matches for the St. Petersburg club and scored two goals. For the first part of the season, the striker also played on loan for Turkish Fenerbahce, where he played 21 matches.

In early February, Zenit announced the signing of a contract with Duran. The agreement with the Saudi club Al-Nasr provided for the lease of a Colombian football player until the end of the 2025/26 season. At the same time, Duran moved to Zenit after Fenerbahce terminated the agreement with the player ahead of schedule.
