Russians were named the areas with the highest salaries in 2026

The highest average salaries in Russia in March 2026 were recorded for senior and middle management specialists — about 150 thousand rubles. Such data was obtained on May 14 from the study hh.ru .

"In March 2026, the highest salary was offered in the field of higher and middle top management - 150 thousand rubles, in second place — strategies and investments — 129.8 thousand rubles," RIA Novosti reports.

The third place was taken by the transport industry, where the average salary was 123 thousand rubles. The areas with the highest incomes also included agriculture, mining of raw materials and the automotive business.

The top 10 areas with high average salaries also included administrative staff and construction, where employers offered about 109 thousand rubles.

In addition, there were offers at about 100 thousand rubles for working personnel — drivers, storekeepers, movers, painters and other specialists, as well as in the manufacturing sector, including electronics engineers, design engineers, laboratory technicians and metrologists.

Analysts reported on May 12 that over the past ten years, average salaries have increased at least threefold in 40 regions of Russia. Such conclusions were made on the basis of government statistics. The most noticeable increase in labor incomes was recorded in the republics of Mari El, Altai and Udmurtia, where the figures increased 3.4 times.
