Russians were informed about the growth of the average social pension

The average social pension for working and non-working Russians in April 2026 exceeded 16.5 thousand rubles, an increase of about a thousand rubles over the year. This became known on May 14 from the data of the Social Fund of Russia.

As of April 1, 2026, the average payout amount was 16,583 rubles, while in the same period of 2025 it was 15,520 rubles, RIA Novosti reports.

For working social pension recipients, the average payout reached 12,355 rubles, while for non-working recipients it is 16,986 rubles.
