The State Duma (State Duma) has prepared a bill on recognizing Easter in Russia as a public holiday without an additional day off. This was announced on May 13 by the co-author and developer of the document, State Duma deputy Dmitry Gusev.
"We have prepared [a bill] that recognizes Easter as a public holiday, but without the formation of an additional weekend," said the deputy.
