A cluster of pumping equipment appeared in the Tula region

A cluster of industrial pumping equipment has appeared in the Tula region. The order on registration of the facility was signed by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov, the press service of the regional government reported on Wednesday, May 13.

The complex was created for the development of technological import substitution and the development of industrial cooperation. It unites enterprises from three regions — Tula, Moscow and Orenburg.

Work at the facility will be carried out in three directions: the production of electric motors, generators and transformers, the production of components for pumps and compressors, the manufacture of bearings and mechanical transmission elements.

According to TSN24, the volume of investments in the project will amount to more than 150 million rubles. It is assumed that the manufactured equipment will be used to meet the needs of Russian enterprises and the housing and communal services sector.

The Industrial Development Fund of the Tula Region will oversee the cluster's work.
