The Indian Foreign Minister pointed to the steady growth of partnership between Moscow and New Delhi.

Cooperation between Russia and India has shown steady growth over the past few years. This was stated on May 13 by Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar at a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"The last few years have been marked by the steady and progressive growth of our bilateral partnership. Its economic and energy components have become even more important," Jaishankar said, the entry was posted on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The Minister separately noted the political interaction between the two countries and stressed that cooperation between Russia and India in the field of environmental protection, as well as in the development of science and technology through bilateral exchanges will only expand.

In turn, Lavrov said that relations between India and Russia are so rich and diverse that they cannot be destroyed. He recalled that friendship between the states began with India's independence.
