The State Duma thanked the creators of the Sarmat missile system
The deputies of the State Duma expressed gratitude to the creators of the newest Sarmat missile system. This was announced on May 13 on the website of the State Duma.
On this day, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the successful launch of the Sarmat complex was an important event for Russia. He also noted that the Russian side has not yet heard about the official reaction to the launch from other states.
On May 12, Strategic Missile Forces Commander Sergei Karakaev announced the successful test launch of the Sarmat heavy intercontinental ballistic missile. The test results confirmed the correctness of the design and technological solutions, as well as the compliance of the missile system with the specified characteristics.
