New People organized the Art Front exhibition in the State Duma

The New People Party on Wednesday, May 13, organized the Art Front exhibition in the State Duma (State Duma), dedicated to special operations soldiers (SVO).

According to party leader Alexei Nechaev, the works presented at the exhibition are sent directly to Russian military personnel. In addition, the proceeds from the purchase of paintings will also go to support the fighters of the SVO.

"All this shows that Russia is united: the military, artists, people who work in companies, engineers, programmers, and accountants are all people who, no matter what they do, are building Russia's place in the modern world together," Nechaev stressed..

Artist Maxim Ilnov presented the central painting of the exhibition entitled "Defender". He noted that Russia's space is based on love, friendship and brotherhood.

"And what's behind our defenders' backs? <...> And the Kremlin, and our houses, and the mountains, and the steppes, fields, tundra, our birds, our horses, our large families, generally just families. We will not give up this world to anyone, and everyone will defend it in their place," the artist showed.

As participants of the Victory Day Parade on May 9, the great-grandchildren of the 1945 victors are defending Russia on the same frontiers where their ancestors once fought.

On April 24, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council (SB), said that the exploits of the SVR participants had already entered the country's history. He noted that this topic occupies a special place in the Dictation of Victory campaign, adding that the initiative provides a unique opportunity to touch the great history of Russia.

On December 29, 2025, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting on the development of the situation in the SVR zone, stated that Russian military personnel serve as an example of service to the Fatherland. In addition, the head of state noted that the decisive role in the success of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during its military operations is played by soldiers who risk their lives daily and show courage and heroism.
