The Ministry of Communications of Latvia has proposed to ban bus passenger transportation to Russia. This was reported on May 12 by the local newspaper Delfi.

"ATD's decisions are individual administrative acts implementing the ban on international transportation to Russia and Belarus, as well as on international transit through Latvia, provided for in the draft rules, extending it to specific carriers," the ministry explained.
