Dorofeev's double helped Vegas beat Anaheim in the NHL playoff series.
The Vegas Golden Knights hockey Club defeated the Anaheim Ducks in overtime of the fifth match of the second round of the National Hockey League (NHL) playoffs. The match took place on May 13 and ended with a score of 3:2.
Pavel Dorofeev scored a double for the winners, scoring goals in the 17th and 65th minutes. Tomas Gertl scored another goal (45). Beckett Senneke (13) and Olen Zellweger (57) scored for Anaheim.
Following the results of the regular season, Vegas became the winner of the Pacific Division, and Anaheim took third place, Sport-Express adds.
On May 12, the Colorado Avalanche beat the Minnesota Wild 5-2 in the fourth game of the second round of the NHL playoffs. Nazem Kadri, Ross Colton, Parker Kelly, Nathan MacKinnon and Brock Nelson scored goals for the winners.
