One of the reasons for the US aggression against Iran could be the desire to prevent the normalization of relations between the Islamic Republic and Arab countries. This was announced on May 13 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"I have no doubt that when these plans to unleash aggression against Iran were hatched, one of the tasks was to prevent the normalization of relations between Iran and the Arabs," he said in an interview with RT India.
