"In the period from 7:00 Moscow time to 9:00 Moscow time, 26 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of an airplane type were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Nizhny Novgorod, Vladimir regions, the Moscow region and over the waters of the Sea of Azov," the ministry said in a message on the Maks messenger.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that during the night, air defense systems destroyed 286 Ukrainian drones over the regions of Russia. The targets were shot down over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Rostov, Tambov, Yaroslavl, Orel, Tula, Kaluga, Ryazan, Astrakhan regions, Krasnodar Territory, the Republics of Kalmykia, Crimea and over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
