Evgeny Koreshkov left the post of head coach of Chelyabinsk HC Traktor
The head coach of the Traktor Chelyabinsk hockey club, 56-year-old Evgeny Koreshkov, has left his post, the press service of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) team announced on May 13.
"Evgeny Koreshkov, thank you for your work! The specialist leaves the post of head coach of Traktor. The hockey club thanks Evgeny Gennadievich for his work and wishes him success in his future coaching activities!" the team's Telegram channel says.
Koreshkov has been a member of the team's coaching staff since November 21, 2025. On December 16, he became the head coach of Chelyabinsk. Under his leadership, HC took the sixth place in the Eastern Conference table. Prior to working with Traktor, the specialist was a member of the coaching staff of St. Petersburg SKA, CSKA Moscow, and Kazakhstan's Barys.
On April 29, the football club (FC) Pari Nizhny Novgorod announced the appointment of Vadim Garanin as the head coach of the team for the 2025/26 season. The coach got to work, got to know the players and conducted a training session in preparation for the match against Akhmat. Prior to his appointment to Paris NN, he led the Lit Energy team in the Media League.
