- Russian UAVs forced the Ukrainian Armed Forces to change tactics in the Kharkov sector of the front
The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have begun to change their tactics in the Kharkiv sector of the front due to the work of drones of Russian military personnel. This was announced on May 13 by the commander of the group of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Vakha battalion of the Akhmat special forces with the call sign Uzbek.
"The enemy is also learning, changing tactics. They try to keep self-propelled guns (self-propelled guns) away. They go to different firing positions — they practice and immediately try to leave. Not so long ago, they destroyed the British AS-90 self—propelled gun," he told RIA Novosti.
The soldier noted that the situation in the Kharkiv region remains stably tense. The soldiers of the Russian Army are tasked with destroying enemy artillery and UAV control points, as well as disrupting the rotation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On May 12, the Russian military attacked Ukrainian military airfields, as well as ammunition and fuel depots. In addition, attacks were carried out on temporary locations of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 56 districts.
