Graduates of the Moscow region will be paid 100 thousand for two hundred-point exams

Graduates of schools in the Moscow region who pass the unified state exam (USE) for 100 points in two or more subjects at once will receive a one-time payment of 100 thousand rubles. This was announced on May 13 by the chairman of the Moscow State Duma Igor Bryntsalov.

"Now the students are actively preparing for the main period, which starts on June 1 and will last until July 9. The Moscow region provides serious incentives for the most talented and hardworking. Graduates who have passed two or more subjects with 100 points at once receive 100 thousand rubles at a time," Bryntsalov said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

In addition to encouraging outstanding students, the region has provided rewards for their mentors. Teachers who prepare two or more graduates with the highest result will receive 150 thousand rubles each.

According to the parliamentarian, last year, 31 schoolchildren from the Moscow region scored the highest score in two or more disciplines, and two of them scored 300 points, and another 29 scored 200 points.

Senator Airat Gibatdinov reminded on May 12 that this year, in order to receive a school certificate, students need to receive at least 24 USE points in Russian and seven points (or a grade of "three" — "satisfactory") in basic mathematics, as well as minimum grades in other subjects.
