The Ministry of Emergency Situations announced work on the elimination of a fire on Vernissazhnaya Street in Moscow.

Firefighters have begun to eliminate the ignition of a metal frame building on Vernissazhnaya Street in the Izmailovsky district of Moscow. This was announced on May 12 by the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the Maks messenger.

"The capital's firefighters are extinguishing a fire in the east of Moscow. The Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Moscow received a message about a fire at 6 Vernisazhnaya Street," the department said.

Fire and rescue units were involved on the spot. The fire area is 200 sq. m.

A criminal case has been opened into the incident.

The fire on the territory of the Kremlin in the Moscow district of Izmailovo became known earlier that day. It was reported that the emergency services of the city began to arrive at the site.
