United Russia has spoken out against outright censorship in literature, cinema and music

United Russia considers the practices of labeling and canceling a number of literary, musical and film productions unjustified and excessive. This was reported on May 12 in the press service of the party.

The entry into force of the law on the prohibition of drug propaganda should not become the basis for restrictions on works of art that only contain references to relevant subjects, said Evgeny Poddubny, member of the General Council of the party, Deputy General Director of VGTRK, Hero of Russia.
