An American Ohio-class nuclear submarine has arrived in Gibraltar. This was announced on May 12 by the press service of the VI Fleet of the United States Navy.

"A US Navy submarine capable of carrying ballistic missiles arrived in Gibraltar on May 10. The visit to the port demonstrates American capabilities, flexibility, and continued commitment to our obligations to our NATO allies," the navy said in a statement on its website.
