Part of the Garden Ring in Moscow will be closed on the opening day of the motorcycle season

At the end of this week, the exterior of the Garden Ring will be closed due to the Moscow Motorcycle Festival. This was announced on May 12 in the Maks messenger by the Moscow Department of Transport.

So, on May 16, from 12:50 p.m., cars will temporarily stop moving along the entire exterior of the Garden Ring, on Kosygina, Bolshaya Dorogomilovskaya and Smolenskaya streets, as well as on Vorobyevsky Highway, on Berezhkovskaya Embankment, on Borodinsky Bridge, at the exits from Borodinsky Bridge towards Taras Shevchenko Embankment. Traffic will resume as the motorcade passes through.

The Moscow Motorcycle Festival will be held for the 14th time. According to Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Transport, the event will be dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. The organizers suggested that the participants of the festival decorate their motorcycles with flags of the Russian Federation and tricolor colors.

During the event, a motorcyclist column will solemnly ride along the Garden Ring, rock bands will perform, and guests will meet with representatives of domestic tuning studios. Admission to the event is free.
