Sobyanin spoke about the new developments of MIC in the field of radio electronics

The Moscow Innovation Cluster (MIC) and the Lomonosov cluster of the Vorobyovy Gory Moscow State University Research and Development Center make a significant contribution to the development of the radio electronics industry, according to the Mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin. The head of the capital spoke about the new developments of cluster residents in the channel of his personal blog in the Maks messenger.

Over the years, Moscow's radio-electronic industry has become the technological backbone of wireless communications, the Internet, and many other critical infrastructures, Sobyanin noted in a blog post. "The developments of Moscow's radioelectronic industry enterprises provide solutions to current industry challenges and lay the foundation for long—term technological growth," wrote the mayor of the capital.

Thus, a participant in the Innocenter VAO MIC has developed a platform for assembling radio-electronic devices from ready-made microwave chips and functional blocks. It allows you to create complex equipment 5-10 times faster than from scratch, Sobyanin said. Laboratory work on radio engineering in Russian universities is carried out on its basis.

One of the first residents of the Lomonosov cluster, the Microwave Electronics company, produces vector generators, signal analyzers and antenna systems. The equipment is used in television broadcasting, cosmonautics, urban transport communication systems and the management of unmanned vehicles, the head of Moscow noted.

Another company from the Lomonosov cluster, T8 STC, is developing domestic DWDM systems that combine multiple communication channels in one cable. More than 100 thousand km of networks from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka operate on its equipment. The company participated in the construction of a highway with a length of more than 16.7 thousand km between St. Petersburg and Ulan-Ude.
