The production of printed circuit boards for the automotive industry will begin in the Moscow industrial park Rudnevo. The production launch is scheduled for the end of this year. The new resident of the park will supply products to leading Russian automakers, including AvtoVAZ, KamAZ and Moskvich, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in the Maks messenger on May 12.

"This will be the country's first large-scale contract production of printed circuit boards up to 24 layers and up to 7th grade accuracy. There are currently no analogues of products among Russian manufacturers," Sobyanin stressed.

Printed circuit boards in the automotive industry make it possible to increase the number of electronic components in a limited area, making devices more compact, productive and reliable, he noted.

The total investment in the project will exceed 5 billion rubles. The plant will be equipped with modern equipment, including automated lines and high-precision robotic systems. The company will create more than 300 jobs, and some of them will be occupied by graduates and students of the capital's colleges.

Residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ receive tax benefits, including reduced income, property and land tax rates, as well as access to the free customs zone regime (import of equipment and components without customs duties and VAT).

Earlier, on May 8, it was reported that the production of the Senat 900 car will begin in St. Petersburg. The model has been certified and has received Vehicle Type Approval (OTT), which allows the production and sale of the car in the territory of the Russian Federation.
