Early years and career in the theater

Vadim Alexandrov was born on May 3, 1939. In 1962, he graduated from the Shchepkin Theater College (course of L.A. Volkov). Immediately after graduation and until 1976, Alexandrov served in the Central Children's Theater (today it is the Russian Academic Youth Theater).

Later, from 1988 to 2000, the actor played in the Studio Theater under the direction of director Oleg Tabakov. In 1994, Alexandrov was awarded the honorary title of Honored Artist of Russia.

Film career

Alexandrov began acting in films in 1967. During his career, he took part in 147 projects. The actor was remembered by the audience for his roles in classic Soviet films, including "The Mustachioed Nanny", "The Woman who Sings", "The same Munchausen", "Kin-dza-dza!", as well as the films "Once upon a Time, 20 years later", "Beloved woman mechanic Gavrilov", "Trust, which burst", "The Return of Budulai" and others.

Alexandrov became very famous for his role in the disaster film "The Crew". In addition, he starred in popular Russian sitcoms of the 2000s: "My fair Nanny", "Daddy's daughters", "Soldiers", "Voronin" and "Kamenskaya".

Death

Vadim Alexandrov died on May 8. He was 87 years old. According to RIA Novosti, the cause of death was a head injury caused by a fall. It was claimed that he slipped and hit himself while walking to the kitchen. Due to this, Alexandrov struggled with cancer for many years, however, according to his relatives, the disease did not affect his death.
