Six people killed a deaf-mute man in Nizhny Novgorod
Avtozavodsky District Court of Nizhny Novgorod has detained six people accused of murdering a person with hearing and speech impairments. This was reported on May 12 in the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
"The investigator's petitions for the choice of a preventive measure in the form of detention in respect of six accused of committing a crime under paragraph "g" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder, that is, intentional infliction of death to another person, committed by a group of persons by prior agreement") have been considered," the publication says on the social network. The incident occurred on April 9 on the landing of the house on Strokina Street. The attackers inflicted multiple injuries on the victim, from which he died on the spot.
A sign language interpreter was present at the meetings. The defendants will remain in custody until June 8, 2026. The court's rulings have not yet entered into force.
On April 28, the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported that employees of the management company in Yekaterinburg were accused of attempted murder of one of the residents of the house who initiated the issue of changing the Criminal Code. Two of the accused are in custody, and several others have left the country and are on the international wanted list.
