The Russian Embassy told about the impressions of the President of Laos on Victory Day in Moscow

President of Laos Thonglong Sisoulit, returning from Moscow, praised the celebration of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII). According to the Russian Embassy in the country on May 12, the head of state noted the special solemnity and beauty of the events.

Upon arrival from the Russian capital, President Sisoulita was met by Russian diplomats at Vientiane Airport. At the ramp, he had a short conversation with Russian Ambassador Sergey Hardy.

"The President of the DPRK highly appreciated the results of the summit and, in general, the trip to celebrate Victory Day, noting its special solemnity and beauty, as well as the highest level of organization and hospitality provided to him," the embassy's Telegram channel says.

Sisulit, along with other foreign guests, visited Moscow on May 9 to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. On Victory Day, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a separate meeting with the Lao leader as part of a series of international contacts. Putin noted that relations between Russia and Laos are built on the basis of friendship and mutual trust.
